Service

Development: A Regional Workshop for Middle East and North Africa
Resource Managers, to be held in Cyprus during the month of October
2003.METI’s President, Renard U. Johnson is representing METI
as part of a Government/Contractor Advance Team that will be traveling
to Limassol, Cyprus at the end of June to meet with the various on-site
supporting companies such as the media and transportation firms that
will provide services to this major international conference. For

U.S. Department Of Agriculture Round Table on
Sustainable Forests Adds Partners
METI and our subcontracting partners support the Roundtable on
Sustainable Forests Technical Working Group and Sustainable Forestry
Partnership through Phase Two of our contract with the USDA Inventory
Monitoring Institute. The Pennsylvania State University School of
Forest Resources will provide advisory and assistance services to the
Partnership concentrating on identifying, prioritizing, and providing
data on technical issues for the development of the 2003 National
Report. The advisory and assistance services are designed to help the
Forest Service provide sustainable forest management of all the nations
forests.

Tactical Training Ranges Program Office Follow-On
Contract Award
METI was awarded a follow-on contract to provide Technical Support to
the Navy’s Tactical Training Ranges Program Office (PMA-248)
December 31, 2001. METI will continue to support the Program Manager,
Deputy Program Manager, and the Business Financial Manager in all
phases of acquisition management and planning, programming and
budgeting, workload planning, budget formulation and execution, and all
phases of accounting and reporting for the Tactical Training Ranges
Programs.

ITSP II Contract Win
METI was awarded an Information Technology Services Program (ITSP) II
Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) by the Electronic Systems Center
(ESC), Hanscom AFB, MA on December 20, 2001. Contract Number
F19628-02-A-0058 will provide the Air Force ESC Program Offices at
Hanscom and other Geographically Separated Units (GSU) with Advisory
and Assistance Services Support. The contract will be performed through
the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule
(FSS). METI’s GSA FSS is GS-35F-5483H.

U.S. Department Of Agriculture Contract Win
METI is a member of the Electronic Data Systems (EDS) Team that was
awarded an Information Technology Support Services (ITSS-2) contract
for the U.S. Department Of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency (FSA) and
the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). The EDS Team will
provide Information Resource Management (IRM) development and IRM
support services for the two agencies. Services will be provided for
the FSA in Kansas City, MO., and services for the NRCS will be provided
at eight geographically dispersed cities. [November 21, 2001]
Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC)
Contract Win
METI has been awarded a subcontract to support the INTEROP Joint
Venture for Scientific, Engineering, Technical And Administrative
Support to the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) at Fort
Huachuca, AZ and Indian Head, MD. The JITC is an element of the Defense
Information Systems Agency (DISA) and is responsible for planning,
conducting, evaluating, and reporting results of testing and related
systems engineering aspects of Command, Control, Communications,
Computers And Intelligence (C4I) Systems and Automated Information
Systems (AIS).
